Store Policies

In today’s market, we believe that honesty is the best policy. That’s why we designed the most generous, fair and transparent store policies for our customers. Read the following sections to find out more about our policies. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

Returns and Adjustments

  • Returns/adjustment requests can no longer be accepted for customer measurement mistakes or customer design changes. If you have any questions about measuring necks for collars, please feel free to contact us. If you have a question about harness measuring, watch our tutorial at https://www.lakeviewdoggear.com/harness-measuring-tutorial and contact us if you have further questions.

  • You, our valued customers choose the width and length you want a collar to be. If we are told the dog's neck measurement is 20", for example, there will be holes at 19", 20", 21", 22", 23". Be aware of the materials on a design you are choosing. If the pattern is a random pattern, a large pattern, etc., it may not show up the way you want it on a 1", 1.5", or 2" collar.  Also realize that with a vinyl and leather lined collar, they are bulkier than a standard collar. Make sure you know what you want and have the correct measurement for the design you are requesting. LDG collars are custom and cannot be returned due to errors in measurement or you not liking width you chose. Also please be advised the patterns will appear on different sized collars in a different way. There is no guarantee that two collars will ever look the same or that a certain part of a pattern will appear on your collar.

Payment/Ordering

  • Payment must be made in full before we order materials, start production, or enter your order in our schedule.

  • Orders are scheduled in the order they are received and paid for. Please understand that every customer is valuable to us and lead times will vary. In cases of emergency, you can pay a surcharge to expedite the production/shipment of your order.

Skip the Lines

  • Sew Fast by LDG was created in order to help customers who want or need their items sooner than what we can normally offer with our large number of orders. Essentially, there are two order work-lists at LDG: 1) normal work-list; and 2) Sew Fast work-list. By purchasing Sew Fast, you transfer your membership from the normal work-list to the Sew Fast work-list.

  • What does that mean for you? Members of the Sew-Fast work-list benefit because their orders are made (and shipped out) at least twice as fast as the members of the normal work-list. Think of it like an Express line at a store or an amusement park. Sew Fast isn't for everyone. If you are content with the typical three-week waitlist, look no further. But, if you always want your items made and shipped faster or if you want a single item made faster because you have an event, go ahead and give Sew Fast a try.

  • Note: Buying Sew Fast does not guarantee shipping within a certain amount of days, but rather expediting your order.

Misc.

  • We will no longer offer vinyl fabric with a leather lining on a 1" collar.

  • There are surcharges for certain materials, linings, types of hardware, monograms, patches, etc.

  • For custom orders, you, our customer, must contact LDG for a custom quote.

  • All collars (except the Rediscover Your Dog collar) are not meant to be used for tying your dog out. We cannot replace collars that have been abused.
